I wanted to send a quick appreciation note for our lovely stay at Shell Haven. Our family had some great memories with the beach and specifically Treasure Island. If we decide to return next year on March break, I would definitely consider you again.

PS: Treasure Island has a public Tennis and Golf Club on the other side of the dock. Tennis on the hard courts are free. They also have the option to play on clay; however there is a $7.00 per person charge. There is a 9-hole golf course with the longest hole being 140 yards.

Thank you so much for our accommodations! What a GREAT find! The Shell Haven was more than anyone could ask for. Clean, tranquil, and your special touches of detail are the best. The beach house atmosphere was just what we were looking for, plus it has all the conveniences of home.

Your pet policy is a win for us, being that we've travelled with our dog Sadie for 15 years. Alot of places that take pets are dives - NOT in your case! Many thanks again; we hope to return soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you! Being from Maine, it was an experience to remember, especially picking our own fresh grapefruit and oranges from the trees nearby. The pink grapefruit was sweeter and better than we get from our supermarket! It was nice to take our usual short morning walk, just a block and a half or so, and end up sunning on the beach or fishing at the end of the street; close enough for a walk back to the Driftwood for lunch, then back to the beach in the afternoon. It was attractive, very clean and furnished attractively and at a price much less than expected for Florida's Gulf Coast.

We'll be back!

We had a WONDERFUL time at the Shell Haven. The place is comfortable, clean, everything we needed was there! The beach across the street is calm and warm, and the fishing is great, especially off the dock. We even had dolphins come right up to the dock to visit us! The owners were very friendly, they live nearby and they're easily available for questions and to orient us around the area.

I think we'll come back next year!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at your property. The unit was very well furnished! The owners put a lot of thought into making sure everything we'd need while there was provided, right down to the coffee, tea and hot chocolate, even toiletry items. The only things we bought were groceries. The location is in a nice residential area which is quite pleasant to walk around. It has a lovely sheltered patio with a BBQ. The yard has an orange tree and a grapefruit tree providing breakfast fruit that couldn't be any fresher. The owners live nearby go out of their way to be as helpful as they can. If we should return to that part of Florida, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

We loved the stay at The Heron's Nest, recommend it, and are confident others will like it equally as much. It is attractive, very clean and furnished attractively and you do feel like you are coming home and not to a hotel. Everybody had their own room which was very nice. We have already started planning our next vacation and it will be back here again. Thank you for making our vacation a lot more relaxing.
