You will never find a more perfect setting than The Herons Nest for a memorable Florida vacation. Youre just steps from the warm Gulf waters... it s only about 1/2 block to the beach, where you can view Floridas famous inspirational sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico while blowing the traditional conch shell at the final rays of daylight. The fishing at Redington Long Pier (which extends 1,027 feet into the Gulf of Mexico) is well-known by anglers who flock from miles around to reel in huge tarpon, kingfish and grouper! You can enjoy an afternoon barbeque in the shade of the covered patio, and relax in the evening watching a fire in the chimenea. In the morning, enjoy a grapefruit or orange fresh from the tree!
The Herons Nest is a duplex featuring a pair of side-by-side 2 bedroom units, recently remodeled and decorated for vacation living. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood with a warm, friendly local atmosphere. There are laundry facilities on site, as well as a bicycle, beach chairs and water toys for your use. Units feature a full kitchen with cooking utensils, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, electric stove, central air conditioning, cable TV and VCR, and a queen sofa bed in the living room. Linens are included. Telephone land line and HIGH SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS available upon request.
The Front Nest
The larger of the two, the Front Nest is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit with a bonus room that can double as an extra bedroom. It has a fully equipped, eat-in kitchen with microwave, ceiling fans, coffee maker, toaster oven, electric stove, central air conditioning, radio/CD player, cable TV and VCR/DVD player. The master bedroom has two full beds and its own bath, the second bedroom has one full bed and shares a bathroom with the study, which has a futon. This unit provides comfortable accommodations for up to 8 people.

- PAYMENT:We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and Paypal. You will be charged 50% upon confirmation and 50% upon arrival. We collect 12% for state and local taxes, a $75 one-time cleaning fee and a pet fee, if applicable (see PET POLICY AND FEES below).

- LONG-TERM VISITORS: Visitors staying with us for 6 months or more with a signed lease qualify for a substantial discount off the monthly rates and are exempt from 12% state and local taxes. Contact the property owner directly for more details.
- CANCELLATIONS: Should you cancel your stay with us, your payment (less a $75 cancellation fee) will be refunded only for the period of time that we are able to rebook to other visitors. Please purchase trip insurance if there is a chance you will have to cancel.
- HURRICANE GUARANTEE: If your stay is interrupted by an evacuation due to a hurricane, you are automatically eligible for a free equivalent stay with us. In case of hurricane, flood, sale of property or natural catastrophe, we will make our best attempt to find you a suitable alternative. Please contact the property owner directly for more details.
- PET POLICIES AND FEES: Well-behaved pets are welcome subject to prior approval. Once approved, the pet fee is $50 per pet. Certain pets (like goldfish) stay FREE! Please be considerate of other visitors and always clean up behind your pet. Do not let your pet roam free, nor leave it locked in the room all day. (Thanks!)
- SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted indoors; comfortable outdoor areas are provided for your smoking pleasure. Please use the ashtrays provided.
- Some reservations may be subject to free upgrades.
